Nikki Muscat (architect Palazzo Hotel Malta) wanted to change the Baroque Palazzo into a 5-star hotel featuring an atelier concept. ‘This concept is evident in the attention paid to detail – a few examples include the ribbed marble, the customized beveled mirrors and the brass room numbers set into the floors.
Imagine yourself sleeping in a bedroom that transports you to another time and place. That’s what you would be searching for when planning a night away, right? The designers Johannes Tjernberg, Rasmus Jakobsson and Nicklas Fälldin created this feeling using Ellie’s wallpapers in the Vault Hotel (Sweden). They used two designs of Ellie, each on a different floor of the hotel.
