Still Life with Shadows Blue on Silk Voile Fabric

Still Life with Shadows Blue on Silk Voile Fabric

The pinks in ‘Still Life with Shadows Blue’ are soft and girlish while the blues are deep, moody and mysterious. Printed on an elegant, semi-transparent, 100% silk voile fabric that is suited for clothing, curtains and scarves, the effect is nothing short of poetic.

This is a single fabric panel with a standard width. For details, please see the Product Specifications below.

Use our silk voile, a lightweight (34 gr/m2) fabric with a matte finish, to create clothing items, curtains or scarves.

While our silk charmeuse is shiny on one side and matte on the other, this voile is matte on both sides and has, as such, a more casual and understated appearance.

The ‘Still Life with Shadows Blue’ print has a beautiful, understated color palette. In the bouquet, there are pastel shades of pink, lavender, beige, coral and aqua. The dark blue, dark green and black foliage is silhouetted against a variegated blue background. There is a sort of foggy glow which makes this print especially moody and atmospheric. The foliage explodes out from the central flower.

For further insight into the (thought) process behind the original design ‘Still Life with Shadows’, please see Ellie’s full Design Description.

Our silk voile fabric comes on a roll and has a usable width of 130 cm (51”). It can be dry cleaned and ironed on a low setting. For more information, please see the Product Specifications at right.
