Our A Golden Age on Lightweight Velvet is perfect for creating beautiful cushions, curtains and blinds. It features Ellie’s original ‘A Golden Age’ design and is available in four different colors.
Our lightweight velvet is simultaneously soft and durable and is ideal for making cushions and curtains. This fabric is printed using a sublimation dye technique. This means that that the colors are impregnated into the fabric, so that they won’t fade or wear with time or exposure to sunlight.
With a Martindale rating of +/- > 60,000 and a pilling, rub fastness (dry and wet), and lightfastness rating of +/- 4-5, this fabric meets the standard for contract upholstery fabric. It can therefore be used for commercial projects as well as private homes.
The prints are sharp and vibrant on this incredibly soft yet durable fabric. It’s truly the perfect material for making cushions and curtains to bring warmth in your interior.
