From Source to Sea Fabric

This design imagines two elements that a bird would observe from his elevated perch: a glistening river and a hazy horizon line.

While the suggestion of the horizon in the background of this print calls on our own sense of freedom, possibility and adventure, the river motif in the foreground provides a metaphor for how we can move through the landscapes of our own lives: constantly changing, without ever abandoning ourselves. From beginning to end, all of the movement and change that takes place in the river belongs to one journey, one gesture, one sound and one self.

My hope is that ‘From Source to Sea’ will bring the viewer a sense of calm, harmony, contentment and freedom. I hope she will be reminded of the course and the beautiful landscape of her own life, and the idea that she can feel at home - anytime, anywhere - when she feels at home in her own heart.”
